Jane is a Southern Georgian Bay & Toronto-based Professional Makeup Artist. For the first 6 years of her career, Jane worked as a certified Aesthetician & ran a professional makeup school in Calgary for 4 years before moving to Toronto.

 

Decades of international experience working on world-class projects is what sets her aside from others. After a successful freelance make-up artist career in Toronto & Montreal, Jane was hired by MAC Cosmetics founders to set up and run their Global Artist Training & Sales Divisions. Over her 34-year MAC tenure, she also worked as a MAC Senior Artist participating in International Fashion Weeks in Milan, Paris, New York and London on shows such as; Vera Wang, Carolina Herrera, Donna Karan, Oscar de la Renta, Michael Kors, Missoni, Ferragamo, Emilio Pucci, and more.  Jane's experience doesn’t stop there, she’s worked with celebrities such as Alicia Keys, America Ferrera, Catherine O’Hara, Elisha Cuthbert, Kristen Stewart, Malin Akerman, Mary Steenburgen, Mira Sorvino, Nina Dobrev, to name a few.  She's also appeared on TV productions such as Oprah, Cityline, Breakfast TV, Marilyn Denis and she has been interviewed by various online sites and magazines. She has presented centre stage at industry Events like the International Makeup Artist Trade Show (IMATS) & hundreds of MAC Master Classes. She has worked on major global events such as the Toronto Pan Am Games & The Vancouver Olympics Ceremonies.

 

As a trained Aesthetician, Jane understands cosmetic health & safety. Her services are creative, time efficient, punctual & reliable. She prides herself on providing a meticulously clean makeup case & setup.

 

Jane is a highly accomplished bridal make-up expert whose focus now is to help wedding parties look & feel the most beautiful on their special wedding day.   

 

When it comes to weddings, Jane loves the atmosphere.  “It's like backstage & can be calm or electric. Personally, I like to make everyone feel relaxed, safe, and comfortable in a warm, friendly, fun environment.” She listens carefully to what her clients are requesting & interprets their vision. Jane creates whatever bridal looks the party wants, from minimal to dramatic and everything in between.
