Katia Abaimova, Broker – Century 21 Millennium Inc. Brokerage
My mission statement is to exude professional, honest and high-quality service to protect the highly vulnerable decisions and steps my clients must make in order to Buy or Sell with confidence. I believe that my clients are expecting knowledgeable, personable, and enthusiastic representation which they can expect when they work with me and my team. I strive to make the experience worry-free for my clients and the best way to do that is to help guide them to make clear goals while still having fun and getting to know each other along the way. My clients' goals are my goals and my clients become my lifetime friends. I want to be someone they can rely on well beyond the closing date, by being a resource for them throughout each step of the way and beyond.
I started as a Sales Representative in May of 2015 and have since become a Broker and have joined Greg Syrota, Melanie Moss, Dan Halos and Melanie Moss to form the Greg Syrota Team. Prior to Real Estate, I graduated from Queen's University with a BScH in Geography, a topic I remain passionate about to this day.
Your investment is my passion. I understand that buying or selling a home or investment is part of YOUR story, and I'm there to help guide you through it. In order to do this, I spend time each day studying the regional real estate market, I attend seminars to stay on top of all of the best ways to ensure my clients' listings receive outstanding exposure to prospective Buyers, and I spend time immersing myself in our community and what it has to offer so that my Buyer clients can benefit from my knowledge and experience. Further, by hiring me, you are hiring a team of 5 local, like-minded REALTORS® that pool marketing funds, exchange knowledge and are collectively present throughout our clients' buying and selling journeys.
I feel truly blessed to be in a position to help walk people through such an exciting part of their journeys. Buying your first home, moving to our area from out of town, up-sizing, downsizing, finding business space and everything in between, I can't wait to help my clients achieve their Real Estate Goals. I feel especially lucky to work with such an amazing team of Realtors. Our small by design team services The Blue Mountains, Collingwood, Wasaga Beach and the surrounding area, and has over 30 years of collective experience. We're able to pool our marketing funds to ensure maximum exposure of our listings and have the whole team working on your behalf. We all live, work and play here and are thrilled to help you to do the same. I am a Certified Negotiation Expert, I've been in the top 6-10% of the market place for a number of years, and I stay on top of up and coming technology, breaking news and trends to ensure my clients are getting the best service possible in our market today.
There is nothing that excites me more than calling my clients and letting them know their dreams are about to come true. Letting a Buyer know their offer was accepted; letting a Seller know the Buyers are ready to commit; handing over keys and putting up a sign that says Sold. Helping someone achieve their goals is an extraordinarily rewarding experience and knowing that my expertise helped guide my clients to get there is beyond exciting. Besides this, helping clients explore neighborhoods in our area to find the right community to call home, getting to know the local restaurants, businesses and hubs and especially meeting new people everyday. I love what I do and I love the community I work in so being passionate in helping my clients love what they do in a community I know they're going to love makes it easy to wake up excited to help my clients reach their goals.
After federal cutbacks in climate research, I did a little soul searching for a few years to determine the next steps. I brushed up on my marketing skills, I focused my energy on networking, learning my strengths and weaknesses and getting to know the steps involved in various career paths. After a lot of exploration it became clear to me that starting a business that allowed me to help people in what could be one of the biggest investments they'll ever make would be extremely gratifying and would allow me to live a journey on a path that requires constant continuing education. Five years into this business and I find that I am constantly learning. No two days are the same, and while the demands of the job can be challenging and certainly don't come without intense pressure, at the end of the day, I am extremely grateful with the path I've chosen and appreciate each and every person I meet along the way.
There is nothing quite as glamorous as weddings in my opinion. A long awaited day commemorating the matrimony of two people connected primarily by love is such a beautiful ritual and I get teary eyed just thinking about the poetic nature of this tradition. The vendors lucky enough to regularly contribute to such a memorable right of passage in so many people's lives must be vibrating at such high frequencies to be surrounded by love and beauty day in and day out. In my business I've been able to help many couples take the next step to their happily ever after. Finding that perfect nest for the next phase of your life is exciting and such a big decision cannot be taken lightly. That's why it's so important to choose someone to represent you that's going to be passionate about matching you with your dream home, educated about the nuances of the community, and excited to bring you the good news that the next part of your happily ever after is about to become a reality.
