Exchanging Vows Bridal Boutique is located in Collingwood’s historical downtown. Here you will find beautifully chosen designer bridal gowns, bridesmaid, mother of bride and groom, flower girl dresses and accessories. The experience and passion of owner Tara Klein along with her small town service, creates a bridal shopping and planning experience unlike any other.

"There is not just one quality of a wedding that I love, I love everything from working with a bride on her first visit, to our visits and planning in between, to the day when I help her carry her gown to the car. I am honoured to be a part of the process of finding their perfect dress and being more than just a consultant. Sometimes when I am lacing or zipping up a gown, I know it is the dress! It is the look on their face, the twinkle in their eyes, the way they sway or the goose bumps that appear when they see themselves in the mirror. I love the whole process and through it all I am here to answer any questions, to give any support and to share any worries and joys every day!"

Trends for 2020

New York Bridal Fashion Week runways showcased wedding gown designs created with bold floral prints, ruffles, tiered skirts and ruffled sleeves. Sleeves like those worn in the 1980’s are making a comeback although being very tastefully designed to catch the eye of modern brides everywhere. Pantsuits in lace and clean fabrics, and wedding dress separates also made a statement and were worn by the “who’s who” in the entertainment industry, leading brides-to-be all over the world excited for all these new amazing styles for 2020. Big bows, deep plunging necklines, low back details and the resurgence of 1920’s fashion are putting modern twists on gowns and are also prevalent for this year’s trends. These designs were carried over into the bridesmaids & evening wear collections. Bridesmaids designers have also designed dresses made from clean fabrics, such as crepe, satin and charmeuse featuring skirts with pockets, high modern necklines, off the shoulder and low backs. The pantone colour for 2020 wedding inspiration is “classic blue,” a colour resembling the sky at dusk, both timeless and elegant. Style boards are lighting up with the pantone colour this year! Bridal parties are also loving palettes of neutrals, shades of blues, shades of greens while mixing it all up with a floral print or sequins. All these choices make for stunning bridal parties & photos that you will cherish for years to come!
