Originally the bustling Dominion Hotel in the 1890’s, the building has transformed over the years to The Dorchester Hotel in the 1960’s and later converted to apartment buildings. Owners’ Tammy and Chris Millsap planned to restore the original heritage building back to a hotel and its former glory days when they purchased it in the spring of 2021. After 18 months of careful restoration of the downtown landmark, The Dorchester Hotel, is now open and providing a 5-star luxury boutique hotel experience for guests visiting South Georgian Bay, and locals.
